Field Notes: experiments in becoming

more available for connection & tiny risks with strangers

Embodiment practice, the work I offer, is an invitation for each of us into feeling, into being known and changed through relationship. Field Notes are my willingness to be seen in that process ~ little videos sharing what embodiment practice looks like within my own life, within this body. A moment of pause, reflection, curiosity… to demystify this thing we call somatics, to support you to be with the mystery of your bodymind, and stay rooted into the collective soil so we can become the ancestors we want to be.

Today’s video shares how I try to practice being available for connection & tiny risk with strangers I share space with, and what that might make possible for the collective. Living where I live, I am always bridging across difference. I want to live into the knowing that people are beautiful.

Here’s the “people are” bus observations I talk about:

"people" are kind. People are holding their bacon roll in their mouth so they can pull up their trousers with two hands. People are trying to catch their bus. People are catching each others’ eyes, letting each other on first. People are cooing at babies when they think no one's looking. People are gripping their snooker cue box in their cold hand, the personalised plaque against the leather. People are spritzing body spray so they're ready for their beau. People are full of weird sweetness.

I hope these field notes feel supportive for you too.

Thanks for watching!
